Highlighting an arrangement!

We’ve had a hot couple of days, but it’s time to change your outlook because fall colors are making their way back to Your Designer Store.  We are excited to introduce a new arrangement that blends the sophisticated neutrals you love with the warm colors of fall! 

Do you have a coffee table or ottoman that needs something fresh to spruce up your space?  One great way to add new interest, or even introduce a new color, is to place a decorative tray filled with frames and vases for a new centerpiece.  On an ottoman, you can even leave your tray empty so you have a place to set your coffee mug while visiting with a friend or just reading a book! 

Want to set up a space like this in your home, but it’s not quite right in your house?  Use it as inspiration!  This arrangement gives an eclectic flow that draws interest to every piece.  We bounce the colors from the pillows on the sofa, to the area rug, to the accent chair, to the accessories that give this room a cohesive feel, yet it is not overwhelming.  This is because the natural tones in the rest of the furniture balance the sparks of color.

Besides color, this space has a variety of textures that give it a unique finish. It mixes a cloth sofa and accent chair, a leather chair and ottoman, wood table, and metal and glass accessories.  Metal and glass give off a different sheen than wood which adds interest to the accessories.  Cloth furniture feels airy and light, while leather furniture looks more substantial and heavy.  Everything needs a balance, and this space is no exception.  Do you need help?  Our designers would love to walk along side you during your next project.
